There is something about a well made timelapse, set to the right kind of soaring music, that appeals to our senses. Something about the way it portrays the rapid passage of time, the massive scale of a city, the fleeting lives of the humans that appear to be zipping around and yet manages to be meditative and contemplative. This video by El Condor Film is a great example of that.
Hardware used to make the film includes a Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF IS II USM 16 – 35 mm f/2.8 L series & Canon EF IS II USM 70 – 200 mm f/2.8 L series. And some of the software includes LRTimelpase 3, After Effect CC, Virtual Dub + MSU Deflicker, AVID – Media Composer. Oh, and obviously the beautiful city of Paris played a role too.
