About Us

Gate37 started as a place to tell diverse and multicultural stories in 2013.

It is now the artist-in-residence program for Keeward-Bookwitty. A place where we give artists a chance to work in an environment that takes them out of the day-to-day and provide them with support, both intellectual and financial.

In the past we’ve worked with musicians like Beirut’s The Wanton Bishops, Montreal’s Wake Island and filmmaking collectives like Iron Heyoka. Our current artist-in-residence is electro-rock duo Lumi.

More information about how to apply and a brand new website will be coming up in the next couple of months.

Sounds interesting and inviting – will be taking a good look to see if there is a fit for me. Previous three books were satisfying but not gates crashers. When my nearly finished novel is done, I’ll be back. Non-fiction – cannot stop researching and writing about topics that move me and the world.
